If a course has restrictions, you should directly contact the instructor and/or the department offering the course for permission to enroll. If the course is restricted due to a prerequisite, they may request proof that you’ve met the pre-req, such as a copy of your transcript. It is recommended that you receive permission from the instructor over email, as you may need to forward the written permission to a department staff member to enroll you.
