This article explains how to use the Cisco Unity Greetings Administrator to manage Call Handler Greetings.
Note: The user performing these steps must have a voicemail account assigned the Greetings Administrator role.
Access the Greetings Administrator
- From an on-campus phone, dial 26245.
- From any phone (including off-campus), dial 9195126245.
- If you reach a voicemail account, press * to access the root menu.
- Press 9 to access the Greetings Administrator.
- When prompted, enter your ID (your campus 5-digit extension).
- When prompted, enter your PIN.
- When prompted, enter the call handler's extension and press #.
Manage Call Handler Greetings
Follow the Cisco Unity prompts to toggle or record greetings.
Toggle Standard and Alternate Greetings
- Press 1 to toggle between Standard and Alternate greetings.
Change Greetings
- Press 2 to change the Standard greeting
- Press 6 to change the Alternate greeting
- Press 3 to change the Busy greeting
- Press 4 to change the Closed greeting
- Press 5 to change the Internal greeting
- Press 7 to change the Holiday greeting
Important: After recording, review each greeting to ensure accuracy before exiting.
