Panopto is a video management platform that allows instructors and students to create and share video content such as online lectures or narrated presentations.

Signing into Panopto is needed to access the videos in Moodle. If a video in Moodle is not available, sign into Panopto first before accessing the video.

Video content can be recorded through the web browser using Panopto Capture. Users that want more granular control while recording (or those who have limited network connectivity) can also opt to use the Panopto desktop recorder.
After logging in to Panopto, select the Create button, located in the top left corner of the page and select the appropriate installer package for your operating system in the menu that appears.
