Reporting Calendar Event Spam

If you notice a suspicious invitation or event on your calendar, report it as spam.

How do I report Google Calendar Event Spam?

To report a spam calendar event, please use the "Report as spam" feature built into Google Calendar.

  1. On your computer, open Google Calendar.
  2. Click the event you want to report.
  3. At the top right, click More actions and then Report as spam.

How do I prevent these spam events from being created?

  1. On your computer, open Google Calendar.
  2. At the top right, click Settings  and then Settings.
  3. On the left, under “General,” click Event settings and then Add invitations to my calendar.
  4. Select Only if the sender is known.
    • This adds an event to your calendar only if the sender is in your contacts, part of your organization, or someone you've interacted with.
    • This option might reveal to senders that they aren't in your contacts.
