Reset Jabber Clients


This article explains how to reset Cisco Jabber on supported devices.

Important: The Reset option is only available when you are signed out of the Jabber client.

Resetting Jabber deletes all saved information, including:

Jabber for Windows

  1. From the Jabber login window, click the Cog Cog icon icon.
  2. Select File > Reset Cisco Jabber.
    1. Alternatively, click the Reset Jabber link at the bottom of the login screen.
  3. In the Reset Cisco Jabber window, click Reset.

Jabber for macOS

  1. From the Jabber client login window, click Jabber in the top menu.
  2. Select Jabber > Reset Jabber
    1. Alternatively, click the Reset Jabber link at the bottom of the login screen.
  3. In the confirmation window, click Reset.

Jabber for iPhone and iPad

  1. From the Jabber login screen, tap Reset Jabber.
  2. Tap Reset in the confirmation window.

  1. From the Jabber login window, tap Reset Jabber.
  2. Tap Reset in the confirmation window.
