The simplest way to confirm RA-TA health insurance enrollment is to receive your Student Blue health insurance card through the mail from Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS). Students on the RA-TA plan are denoted as “NC State RA-TA” above the group number on your insurance card. 

Another indication of RA-TA insurance enrollment being processed is the removal of the charge for “mandatory health insurance” from the student bill. 

Finally, departments may monitor “grad support” in the MyPack Portal for an insurance entry.
