Auto-forwarding email from your NC State account to a personal email account is not allowed.
Per REG 08.00.02 – Use of IT Resources Regulation, university business may only be conducted using university email accounts. If you are using your personal email for university business, your personal email and information could be examined by the university.
Additionally, auto-forwarding to a personal account poses a security risk to both the university and your personal account. Using only a university account for university business helps protect our data and campuswide systems from cyberattacks. See these instructions for turning off auto-forward.
