This document provides guidance for architects, engineers, and contractors designing and installing communications infrastructure on the NC State campus.
All new university buildings must be wired in accordance with the University Wiring Standard (UWS) 3.0.
For renovation projects in existing buildings, pathway infrastructure must comply with UWS 3.0, while cabling should match the existing building standards unless otherwise directed.
