Users must be manually added to Get2Factor (G2F) to use Authenticator codes to sign into a generic account.

Change User Settings in Get2Factor

1. Go to the Get2Factor site.
2. Select Account Owner Tools > Manage Accounts.
3. Log in with your Unity ID and password (if you are not already logged in).
4. Select the account you want to view the Get2Factor code for from the My Accounts in Get2Factor list.
   • If the account is not there, it may need to be added in Get2Factor.
5. Update the account’s information as needed.
   
   • Account Owner — Can change access controls, update the secret key, group accounts for easier management, and deactivate the G2F Authenticator account.
   • Additional Account Owners — Same rights as the primary Account Owner. Adding at least one additional owner is highly recommended.
   • Authorized Users — Users granted permission to view G2F Authenticator codes for this specific account.
   • Account Group — Adds a pre-existing group of users to access the G2F Authenticator codes for this account
6. Select Save Changes.

The easiest method to search for users is to add an equal sign ( = ) before the Unity ID to search for that exact Unity ID.
