Each student is assigned a Unity ID composed of letters (and sometimes numbers) up to eight characters long. Usually, it is your first and middle initials followed by up to six letters from your last name, but if that has already been assigned to someone else the last characters may be substituted with numbers. Your Unity ID will be used to log into the MyPack Portal as well as into your NC State google email account.

Example: George William Abernathy's would be "gwaberna." If someone has already been assigned gwaberna then George might be assigned gwabern2, gwabern3, etc.
