OIT Public Knowledge - Modify Your Google Generic Account's Display Name

Any service contact for a generic account can edit the generic account name in Web Registry. The generic account name is also what is displayed in the Google email directory.

Sign into Web Registry with your regular Unity account.
Select Generic Account in the My Services section.
Select the Description for the generic account that you want to edit.
Select Edit in the Generic Account Details section.
Edit the account's First Name and/or Last Name. You can also make other edits, such as the generic account Description.
Select the Save button.

Note: These changes will take 3–6 hours to take effect in your Google generic account.
