Cisco Jabber for iPhone and iPod provides:

• Presence
• Instant messaging (IM)
• Voice messaging
• Voice and video calling

Jabber integrates with Cisco Webex Meetings for multi-party conferencing. 

Note: This service must be enabled before use. Visit the ComTech Self-Service Portal to request access. For additional details, see the Cisco Jabber documentation. 

Installation

1. Open Cisco Jabber in iTunes.
   
   
2. Install the application.

Setup

1. Open the Cisco Jabber app.
   
   
2. Review and accept the End User License Agreement.
   
   
3. Swipe through the introductory screens and tap Get Started Now.
   
   
4. On the Cisco Jabber Sign-In screen, enter your Unity ID followed by:
   • @ncsu.edu
   • or @comtech.ncsu.edu
     
     
5. Tap Continue.
   
   
6. Enter your Unity password.
   
   
7. Tap Sign In.

If prompted with a Certificate Not Valid message, tap Continue.

If prompted: 

Tap OK to allow access to Contacts. 

Tap OK to allow Notifications.

After Setup 

Cisco Jabber is now ready for use on your iPhone or iPod. 

To access help resources: 

1. Open the Navigation menu.
    
2. Tap Settings. 
   
   
3. Select Help > User Guides.
