Wooclap integrates directly to PowerPoint using the Wooclap add-in to provide questions from events directly in the slideshow. This requires a different authentication to be used for logging into the user's Wooclap account.
This article provides guidance on using the PowerPoint integration for Wooclap.
Before the Wooclap add-in can be used, a local account login must be made for Wooclap so that PowerPoint can authenticate into the right account. This local login will be synced with the Google login typically used to sign into Wooclap within the day, so that events made with the NC State license can be used.
The Google SSO login cannot be used for the PowerPoint add-in, as it creates a bad authentication request that is automatically blocked by Shibboleth.
To create a local login for Wooclap:
After a local login is created, the Wooclap add-in can be installed. To install the Wooclap add-in for PowerPoint:
After this, the events page for that account will load.
If no events populate in the Choose your event field, then the sync between the NC State licensed account and the local login has not yet completed.
If the PowerPoint add-in isn't usable, export the PowerPoint presentation as a PDF and upload it directly to the Wooclap event using Wooclap's "How to insert Wooclap questions in your presentation" article.
