What happens if there is suspected academic misconduct during my exam at the test center?

All activity in the test rooms is recorded via video and computer screen capture software.

If a student is suspected of violating academic policies during an exam:

• The proctor will intervene to stop the behavior (e.g., removing unauthorized notes, phones, or other materials).
• The student will be allowed to continue the exam.
• At the end of the exam, the student will receive a notecard with information about the next steps.
• A detailed report will be submitted to the course instructor and the Office of Student Conduct.

If a suspected violation is identified after the exam has ended:

• A report will be submitted to the instructor and the Office of Student Conduct.
