Requesting Access to Adobe Creative Cloud

Only certain individuals are eligible for an Adobe Creative Cloud license.  For further questions regarding Creative Cloud that are not addressed below, please see the Adobe FAQs on our Software Licensing website.

Who is eligible for an Adobe Creative Cloud license?

Due to cost and NC State's license agreement with Adobe, ONLY full-time faculty and staff will be granted access to a Named-User license for Adobe Creative Cloud.  Graduate and research assistants may be eligible for a shared-device license that can be accessed on a university-issued computer only.

The following groups DO NOT have access:

How do I request a license?

Eligible employees can request a Creative Cloud license for their university machine by submitting the Named User License Request form.

Graduate and research assistants should speak with their supervisor or the head of their research group, as the department/research group will incur the license cost.

Where can I install Creative Cloud?

Creative Cloud licenses should only be used on university-issued computers, not personal devices.  Licenses can be installed on up to two machines at a time (Machine A and Machine B). Installing Creative Cloud on a third machine, Machine C, will automatically deactivate the other two machines.
