We can not rename Google Groups or Generic Accounts.

You will need to submit a new request in Web Registry with the new or corrected name. Then once that's approved, just mirror the members and settings over to the new group, and then the old group can be deleted.

Anywhere you have used the old address as contact or have given permissions to, i.e., Google Drive, Calendars, etc., will need to be updated to the new address
