This document is intended to guide end users to configure a printer to be used as a default printing source any time a print function is used in a Windows application.
The default printer is set so whenever using a Print feature, you do not have to select it each time for a frequently used printer.
Steps
Click on your Start button and being typing Printers and Scanners. The correct option should auto-complete at the top of the list for you:
Select the printer you would like to set as the default.
At the top of the window, you should now see the Set as Default button. Click on it.
That will set the selected printer to your default.
