The first time you submit your Thesis or Dissertation, you will submit as a draft in the ETD Submission System. After that first submission, you should always submit your ETD as a final submission—even if you think it may need further revision. Even though it is called a “final submission,” you will still have the opportunity to revise and resubmit if revisions are needed. If your final submission still needs revision, the process will be the same as when you submitted your draft: the ETD reviewer will return an edited version of your document to you, and once you have made necessary corrections you should re-submit your revised document as a final.
