What is Moodle?

Moodle is the primary Learning Management System (LMS) used for online courses at North Carolina State University (NCSU). It is an open-source course management system that is used to deliver course materials to students virtually. Many of the features in Moodle can be used to make courses an active learning experience. Components of Moodle that may be used by the instructor include chat, discussion forums, latest news (announcements), and more.
