Disallowed Paper Size Error Message in WolfPrint
This documentation explains why sometimes Wolf Print jobs get denied with a "disallowed paper size" error message and how to work around the issue. The intended audience is an end user.
WolfPrint printers will only accept print jobs that are saved as US letter-size (8.5" x 11"), using the WolfPrint-BlackandWhite or WolfPrint-Color print queues. There is one printer model (SP C840) that will accept print jobs saved as Tabloid-size (11"x17"), using the WolfPrint-BlackandWhite-11x17 or WolfPrint-Color-11x17 print queues.

Print jobs of other sizes of paper will not print and cause other print jobs to be held up in the queue. Because of this, you will receive a "Disallowed Paper Size" error message for any file that is not supported, and the print job will be automatically rejected by PaperCut.
A common document size that will be denied by WolfPrint is A4. It is similar to US Letter, but different enough that it still causes issues at the printer. Web Print is unable to automatically convert print jobs to another page size. To convert your file to a supported page size, use Mobility Print from your mobile device instead of Web Print. Alternatively, you can print from a lab computer that has the FollowMe printers installed, and most files will convert on the workstation.
If your document cannot be converted to US Letter or 11x17 size (on supported printers), we recommend the Wolf Xpress Print and Copy service located in the Lower Level of Wolfpack Outfitters in Talley Student Union.
