This documentation explains why Wolf Print jobs can get denied with a "disallowed paper size" error message and how to work around the issue.  The intended audience is an end user.

The "Disallowed Paper Size" Error

WolfPrint supports Letter and Tabloid print jobs only.  Unsupported sizes are automatically rejected because they can cause the printer to stall, preventing other users from receiving their documents.  If you submit an unsupported size (such as A4), PaperCut will cancel the job and issue a "Disallowed Paper Size" error message.

To ensure your document is printed, your file must match the specific paper size supported by the print queue.

 

How to Fix Formatting Issues

If your document is saved in a non-standard size (like A4), you must convert it to Letter or Tabloid before submitting:

 

Select the Correct Queue

 

Wolf Xpress

Wolf Xpress Print and Copy is another on-campus printing service that may be able to print your job if it cannot be converted to US Letter or 11x17 size.  Contact them directly for assistance at 919-515-2131 or wolf-xpress@ncsu.edu.
