All NC State employees are required to take the Data Security Training each year.

View and Take the Course

1. Go to Reporter and select Unity ID Login.
2. Log in with your Unity ID and password.
3. Select Upcoming Events on the Courses and Events tile.
4. Select Access Online Content under the most recent NC State Data Security Training.
5. Select one of the Data Security Training modules.
6. Watch the video in its entirety and answer all of the questions. 

Check Course Completion

After you have watched the entire video and answered all of the questions, the course Moodle site should show that the course is completed. Please note that it can take up to 24 hours for the course completion certificate to be emailed to you.

• The Course Completion Status should say that the course is completed.
• A checkmark that says Done: Receive a grade should appear next to the module.

Note: You may need to wait a few minutes for the Moodle page to update the course completion status. You may need to refresh the page for the completion status to update.
