The steps below will help to add entirely new devices to Duo Mobile, such as devices with a new phone number, tablets, and U2F/Security keys. If you are trying to reconnect the app back to a device/phone number that already exists within Duo, please review the instructions for reactivating the Duo Mobile app.
Authenticating on the Duo Enrollment and Device Management page

- To start enrolling a new device, visit the Duo Enrollment and Device Management page.
- Choose an authentication method to complete two-factor authentication using one of the following:
- An existing device
- Duo SMS passcodes
- If none of the above methods work, visit the Walk-In Center or contact the Help Desk at 919-515-4357 (HELP) for further assistance.
- Select + Add another device to begin setting up the new device on Duo.
- Follow the on-screen instructions for the intended device.

- Security Key (links a U2F security key to Duo 2FA)
