Add a New Device to Duo


You can enroll a new device, including devices with a new phone number, tablets, and security keys, by following the instructions below.

Note: If you are trying to reconnect the Duo Mobile app to a new device with the same phone number, then you should follow the instructions to reactivate the Duo Mobile app.

Access the Duo Device Management Page

  1. Visit the Duo Device Management page. We recommend that you visit this page on a computer if possible so you can use your phone or tablet to scan a QR code.
  2. Sign in with your Unity ID and password.
  3. Sign in with Duo.
  4. Select the Add a device tile.
  5. Select the type of device that you are trying to enroll.
    • If you are enrolling your phone or tablet in the Duo Mobile app, select Duo Mobile.
    • If you are enrolling a security key, select Security key.
  6. Follow the on-screen instructions to finish enrolling your device.
