How do I modify my Google generic account's name in Web Registry?


Any service contact for a generic account can edit the Generic Account Name in Web Registry. The Generic Account Name is what is displayed in the Google Email Directory.
  1. Select the account in Web Registry. (You can find the list of generic accounts that you manage by going to the My Services section and selecting Google Generic Accounts.)
  2. Select Edit Service Details under Service Actions.
  3. Edit the account's first and/or last name.
  4. Select whether or not you want the account to be listed in the NC State Domain Contacts.
  5. Update the description of the generic account, if desired.
  6. Select Save when you are done making your changes.

Note: These changes will take 3–6 hours to take effect in your Google generic account.
