Install the NC State VPN Client on an iPhone or iPad


Installation Instructions for iPhone or iPad

  1. Install the Cisco Secure Client-AnyConnect app from the App Store.

Establish a New Connection

  1. Open the AnyConnect app.
  2. Select Connections followed by selecting Add VPN Connection...
  3. Enter vpn.ncsu.edu into the Server Address field and select Save.
    • You can enter a description, but it is not required.
  4. Select Allow when asked, "AnyConnect" Would like to add VPN Configurations.
  5. Enter your iPhone's pin or passcode to authorize adding the VPN configuration.
  6. Tap Back.
  7. Toggle the switch to the right of AnyConnect VPN.
  8. Beginning at Step 3 of our Connect with the NC State VPN instructions, complete the connection.
