Here are some steps you can try to resolve the issue:
Uninstall and Reinstall
- Uninstall the Cisco Secure Client from the device
- Restart the Mac
- Reinstall the Cisco Secure Client
Enable Cisco Login Items
- Open System Settings.
- Navigate to General.
- Select Login Items and enable the three Cisco items.

Run the following commands in the Terminal app
- Using Spotlight Search, type "Terminal" to find that app.
- It can also be located in Applications > Utilities.
1: sudo cp /opt/cisco/secureclient/bin/Cisco\ Secure\ Client\ -\ AnyConnect\ VPN\ Service.app/Contents/Resources/com.cisco.secureclient.vpnagentd.plist /Library/LaunchDaemons/
2: sudo launchctl bootstrap system /Library/LaunchDaemons/com.cisco.secureclient.vpnagentd.plist
If prompted about blocked actions, click “Open System Settings” and “Allow” to allow the CiscoVPN to install the necessary network settings. Then restart the Cisco VPN, and connect.
