OIT will not restore access to disabled @ncsu.edu Google Workspace accounts or the data contained within them. It is the responsibility of users to transfer any needed data or permissions off their @ncsu.edu Google Workspace account prior to the account being disabled. Users are always notified in advance that their Google Workspace Account is going to be disabled. The schedule of access for most situations:

• Graduating from a degree program — access until ~6 months after graduation
• Non-graduating student not enrolled in classes for next semester — access until around the next semester's Census Day
• Separating employees — access until 21 days after the last day of employment (as listed in the HR System)
• Students on an F-1/STEM OPT extension — access until 30 days after the F-1/OPT status ends at NC State
