Changes Coming to Duo


On Nov. 5, the university disabled text messages as a Duo authentication method. Duo is the platform you use to verify your identity when logging in to NC State services like Google Workspace, MyPack Portal and WolfWare.

Instead, everyone is required to use one of the following methods:

Disabling the text messaging authentication method will improve the cybersecurity measures that protect our community. Using the Duo Mobile app does not make your personal data subject to monitoring by the university per REG 08.00.02 – Use of IT Resources Regulation.
