Persona Group Management
Persona is an attribute-driven, event-sourced people grouping service. It allows users to sort people into groups based on attributes. Instead of keeping a flat state, Persona stores a history of events, which can be used to keep track of when people are added and removed from groups, when their attributes change, and can be used to trigger actions in external applications.

Persona utilizes NC State SIS and HR data to sort people into groups. Those groups can then:
- be accessed via a REST API
- be pushed to Active Directory
- be used to manage members of Google Groups
- be used with the NCState People WordPress Plugin to control who is on a departmental web directory
- be used with the Protected Content WordPress Plugin to authorize access to pages, posts, and media within WordPress
Access to Persona is limited to full-time staff, by request.
There is no cost for using the Persona service.
