Asset Management
Asset Management (also referred to as Capital Asset Management) is a system used to track all NC State University capital assets from the time they are purchased until disposal. Capital assets are purchased by departments through various purchasing methods such as purchase order, capital lease, voucher, P-Card, and MarketPlace. Once identified, the asset is tagged with a "asset tag" and information from the purchase is confirmed, such as make, model, serial number.
