Description
OIT provides faculty, staff, students, guests, and partners with wireless access to the university's network and the Internet. Wireless connectivity is provided in most indoor spaces, including all residence halls and many outdoor spaces on campus.

The NC State Help Desk is available for phone support and to answer submitted help requests Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. whenever the University is open. The support staff is ready to help you with many technical issues, including wired connectivity and much more.

  • Unsecured and unencrypted wireless network for miscellaneous devices provided by SSID ncsu 
  • Guest wireless access is provided by SSID ncsu-guest and limited to commonly used ports/applications
