Description
The Network Operations Center (NOC) manages the day-to-day operations of the campus data and telephony networks. We are responsible for maintaining this infrastructure and repairing, installing, and upgrading all associated components.

Our normal business hours are M-F, 8 am-5 pm.

Data Network Support

  • Provide support for all Data Network services, including:
    • Wired networks
    • Wireless Networks
    • IP Address Registration
    • Virtual Private Networks (VPN), including remote sites
    • Secured Networks
    • Domain Name Service (DNS)
    • Load Balancers
  • Support Data Center equipment
  • Grant access to network tools
  • Network equipment upgrades, installations, and emergency replacement
  • Special Event support
  • 24x7 Network Monitoring

Campus Telephony Support

  • Provide support for all Unified Communication services, including
    • IP Telephony
    • Legacy Telephony at remote sites
    • Voicemail
    • Jabber
    • Audio Conferencing (Meet Me)
    • Cisco Call Center 
  • Process and validate orders and coordinate with departments for billing
  • Manage special IP telephony features for customers
  • Make updates to E911 information
  • Install, support, and monitor Life Safety Lines
  • Repair for traditional and IP telephony services
  • Project Management for large, capital, or special projects
  • Manage physical cabling infrastructure
